
To further strengthen the foundation of students’ academic development, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), through its College of Business Studies (CBS), formalized its partnership with the Government Association of Certified Public Accountants (GACPA), Inc. in a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing held at the University Hostel on February 12, 2026.

The agreement outlines GACPA’s commitment to providing financial assistance specifically for qualified Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) graduates of the university.
Under the program, selected review grantees will receive a P20,000.00 grant to support their journey toward becoming Certified Public Accountants.
Pampanga State U President Dr. Enrique G. Baking expressed his gratitude in a message of commitment, noting that the partnership with GACPA will empower more accountancy students and alumni to reach their goals.
“Given your organization’s benevolence and your vision to uplift the economic standing of every deserving learner, we are confident that this collaboration will yield mutually beneficial results,” Dr. Baking said.
Present during the ceremonial signing along with President Baking were Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Executive Vice President; Dr. Luisito B. Reyes, Dean of CBS; and Jason Carreon, Area Chairperson, along with other CBS faculty members.
Meanwhile, the GACPA delegation was led by Atty. Eugene Dizon, GACPA President, together with Wilfredo A. Agito, Margie V. Oficial, and Ruth Ambion from the GACPA Scholarship Committee.
