In an unannounced audit conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE), Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) received an outstanding compliance rating of 97.89% or a 5-star rating for the university’s compliance with the Republic Act No. 11285, known as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act of 2019 on July 23, 2026.

Gearing toward more efficient and effective client services through digitization, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) will implement its first-ever digitized queuing system after the technical working group formally turned over the project to the frontline offices during a ceremony held at the University Hostel on July 21, 2026.

Strengthening the academic collaboration, faculty and student engagement, research and extension initiatives, the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) solidified its partnership with Visayas State University (VSU) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in support of the Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education programs on July 14, 2026. 

The Lingap Matua Foundation has formalized its partnership with Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus, in collaboration with the Extension Services Office (ESO), through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the Apalit Campus on July 8, 2026.

Pampanga State University opened the first Monday of July through its weekly Flag Raising Ceremony at Administrative Building I, hosted by the Administrative Services Office, on July 6, 2026.

Recognizing exceptional contributions to the field of Information Technology Education (ITE), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSInfoTech) student, and Senior Editor of ComPress, Ellaine Margaux P. Building on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) forged last year between Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) and Cambodia’s Human Resource University (HRU), the two institutions officially launched the Graduate School (GS) Faculty Exchange Program through a virtual ceremony held via Zoom on June 17, 2026.
