Solidifying its legacy in campus journalism, The Industrialist, the official student publication of Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), was recognized as the 2nd Most Outstanding Publication at the 6th Assumption Outstanding Campus Press Awards (AOCPA), held at the University of the Assumption on February 27, 2026.
Marking its sixth appearance at the competition, the publication claimed 10 awards included a third-place finish for its tabloid entry, Duyog, and a top five ranking for Editor-in- Chief Ma. Clarisse Digol in the Most Outstanding Campus Journalist category.
Anchored on the theme “Upholding Excellence in Campus Media for a Changing Society,” the competition brought together approximately 46 student publications from across Luzon to vie in various writing, visual, and institutional categories.
