Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), through its Office of Culture and Arts (OCA), joined the celebration of the National Arts Month 2026, kicking off its opening program held at the University Auditorium on February 11, 2026.
With its theme “Ani ng Sining: Katotohanan at Giting,” the activity aims to highlight that the arts uphold truth, courage, and collaboration and how it contributes to building livable communities, responsible governance, and a sustainable society.
In line with the celebration, the students, faculty and staff participated in a unity parade which was followed by a short program that showcased the talents of the student artists who represented the University last Regional Culture and Arts Festival 2025.
“This year as you can see, our National Arts Month celebration has been evolving through the years, unti-unti nakikita natin ngayon with the Bachelor of Culture and Arts education program, of course our student artists, palaki nang palaki ang ating community dito sa university,” OCA Director Rowell E. Cruz expressed in his opening remarks.
“Mahalaga na ang kultura at sining ay ating matamasa dahil cultural literacy is part of our holistic development,” Cruz emphasized.
Through this celebration, the university solidifies its commitment to nurture the creative spirits of its students, faculty, and staff, paving the way for a more sustainable and culturally rooted future for the Pampanga State U community.
