Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) opened its doors for the 90th Anniversary Celebration of the Office of the Vice President (OVP) in Central Luzon, held at the University Auditorium on January 28, 2026.
The launch of the “EXTRA+Ordinary” pop-up exhibit commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by OVP Undersecretary Zuleika T. Lopez, together with Pampanga 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Bacolor Mayor Eduardo “Diman” Datu, and Pampanga State U President Enrique G. Baking.
In her speech, Rep. Macapagal-Arroyo emphasized that the Vice President is a very important official because he/she provides for a smooth transition of power and that is the mandate of democracy.
The exhibit, with the theme OVP at 90: Duty, Continuity, Legacy (90 Taon ng OVP: Tungkulin, Pagpapatuloy, Pamana), highlights the lives and legacies of the 14 Vice Presidents of the Philippines.
“I hope that our young people in Baculud (Bacolor) and other places of Pampanga will find the stories of different Vice Presidents interesting and educational,” concluded Rep. Macapagal-Arroyo.
The exhibit is open for public viewing until February 2, 2026.
