Following its successful technology transfer to regional jail authorities, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) received a Special Award from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Regional Office III (BJMPRO-III) during its 35th Anniversary Celebration held at The Orchid Gardens Resort in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, on July 29, 2026.

In an unannounced audit conducted by the Department of Energy (DOE), Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) received an outstanding compliance rating of 97.89% or a 5-star rating for the university’s compliance with the Republic Act No. 11285, known as the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act of 2019 on July 23, 2026.
