Honorians had the opportunity to connect with employers during the two-day job fair held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on May 25–26, 2026.
More than 50 participating companies, including both returning and first-time participants, joined the activity hosted by the Career and Job Placement Unit.
Among the first-time participants was UNIQLO Philippines, which chose Pampanga State University as the venue for its first job fair this year.
“We chose to join the Pampanga State University job fair this time because we have been gaining a lot of applicants and new hires who are alumni of Pampanga State University, given the skills they have and the qualities they show… We opted, 'Why don't we do a job fair in their university? Maybe we can get more qualified Uniqlo Retail Specialists,’ said Arianne Mae Romana, HR Manager from Uniqlo Philippines.
Romana further said that they saw students coming from state universities and they are very happy to get those kinds of team members.
Meanwhile, returning participants Oona Insurance and Allianz PNB proudly presented Honorian alumni who are currently part of their organizations and were hired during previous university job fairs.
“Na-hire ako through job fair ng DHVSU last 2024, I graduated as BSBA Marketing and na-hire ako as an insurance agent… Malaking tulong ‘tong job fair na ‘to para sa mga fresh graduate. ‘Yung iba naghahanap ng trabaho, or ung iba nag-aapply habang naghihintay ng licensure exam,” Aaron Bondoc, a Pampanga State U alumnus, is now part of Oona and Allianz PNB.
Aiming to give Honorians the first step toward career building, the job fair is held biannually to give opportunities to graduating students and alumni.
