
Emerging from a record of four wins, one draw, and one loss, Pampanga State University’s (Pampanga State U) representatives locked in the crown during the 2nd ICON I-II Invitational Football Festival - Men’s Open Division held at Timog Triangle, Angeles City on May 24, 2026.
A string of 1-0 victories ushered the winning era for Pampanga State U: Andrew Amatorio’s score succeeded over the high ranking Westboys during semis, while Lance Chester Pacis assisted by Fitz Gerald Ramos kicked the winning goal against Pampanga United amid finals.
Guided by coaches Mariefel Capili and Jobert Manuel together with the 16-member delegation, individual awards were given to the following:
- Jann Steffen Sagao - Most Valuable Player
- Martin Paul De Luna - Best Defender
- Mark Kian Herrera - Best Goal Keeper
- Jobert Manuel - Best Coach
- Andrew Amatorio - Mythical 8
- Jonathan Mendoza JR. - Mythical 8
- Lance Chester Pacis - Mythical 8
