
To ensure continued transparency and accountability, Commission on Audit (COA) held an audit exit conference with Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) on May 4, 2026, at the University Hostel.
The meeting focused on discussing the results of the Calendar Year 2025 audit cycle and reviewing the university’s fiscal performance.
Pampanga State U’s Resident Auditor and Audit Team Leader Matthew Ryan M. Roque presented his team’s observations and recommendations.
During the session, he acknowledged the University’s cooperation throughout the audit process.
“We have to reach a conclusion or a consensus on the audit recommendations—whether they are feasible, practical, or baka meron po kayong mas magandang sinusuggest sa recommendations,” said Roque.
University officials, headed by Pampanga State U President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, along with members of the administrative council and Finance Management Service Office (FMSO) team, convened in an open forum to address specific accounts and review the implementation of prior audit recommendations.
Also in attendance were Executive Vice President Dr. Reden M. Hernandez; Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training, and Extension Dr. Ranie B. Canlas; Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao; FMSO Director Dr. Luis M. Lansang; Administrative Services Office Director Anna C. Dayrit; Property and Supply Management Office Director Arch. Mair S. De Lara; and Mexico Campus Director Dr. Vicky P. Vital, alongside other university non-teaching staff.
The exit conference is the final step of the audit, allowing the university to address findings and provide clarifications before the final report is released.
