Providing opportunities for international educational and cultural exchange programs, Fulbright Philippines - Consortium for Study Abroad in the Philippines (CSAP) organized another roadshow for Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U)’s faculties and staff at the University Hostel on April 28, 2026.
Fulbright PH’s Rochelle Miguel made a comprehensive discussion on programs that would tailor-fit the faculties and employees of the university.
“You have to be a finalist with Fulbright first, and then we'll help you identify the best-fit schools for you. So, there might be schools that would have better mentors, would have the equipment, or the research that you would be needing for the program,” said Miguel.
First Honorian Fulbright alumnus Dr. Cailvin Reyes and secondary school principal from Angeles City Dr. Hermes P. Vargas joined the Fulbright PH team in the roadshow, where they recalled their unique experiences during their exchange program and encouraged the crowd to apply for the program, stating that the scholarship not only provides academic gains but also lifelong personal experiences.
“Opportunities like Fulbright are not merely about studying abroad, they are about returning with deeper insight, stronger competence, and a renewed commitment to contribute meaningfully to society,” said Pampanga State U’s Executive Vice President Engr. Reden Hernandez in his welcome remarks.
The Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF) also known as the Fulbright Philippines is the oldest continuing bi-national commission in the world and international education scholarships in the country.
The activity was hosted by the Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP) led by Dr. Mildred Crisostomo, OIPP director.
It is noted that Fulbright PH first visited Pampanga State U in 2025, where it catered to students and faculty participants.
