As part of the preparation for the upcoming annual Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) and Handa Pilipinas activities, the Department of Science and Technology Regional Office III (DOST-III) visited Pampanga State University (PamSU) on July 10, 2026. 

The purpose of the visit is the conduct of ocular inspection and alignment meeting with the agency’s counterpart committees from the university to coordinate logistics and ensure the seamless execution of all activities. 

The DOST R3 delegation led by Regional Director Julius Caesar V. Sicat reminded everyone, “Ang itatayo nating bandera dito ay hindi ang bandera lang ng DOST, hindi lang bandera ng PamSU, kundi bandera ng Pampanga.”

Director Sicat extended his gratitude to university President Enrique G. Baking and the teams who will be collaborating throughout the planning, preparation,  and orchestration of upcoming activities.

The RSTW and Handa Pilipinas activities were set to commence in September 2026.
