
The Lingap Matua Foundation has formalized its partnership with Pampanga State University - Apalit Campus, in collaboration with the Extension Services Office (ESO), through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) held at the Apalit Campus on July 8, 2026.
The agreement establishes the project “Lingap Matua, Gintung Biyaya (Care for the Elderly, Golden Grace)” which aims to enhance the quality of life and productivity of older persons in Apalit, Pampanga, through collaborative extension initiatives.
Under the program, both institutions will provide holistic interventions in health, wellness, digital literacy, and livelihood, while translating university research into active, community-based development initiatives.
The MOA signing was attended by key representatives from Pampanga State U, including Apalit Campus Director Dr. Mark Anthony A. Castro; Assistant Coordinator Merian M. Payumo; and Project Leader Dr. Normando C. Simon, together with the ESO center managers: Dr. Dean B. Lapuz, Engr. Inla Diana Salonga, and Engr. Aaron Malonzo. Meanwhile, the Lingap Matua Foundation was represented by its Chairman and Chief, Dr. Bernardo P. Simon, alongside its members.
