Pampanga State University opened the first Monday of July through its weekly Flag Raising Ceremony at Administrative Building I, hosted by the Administrative Services Office, on July 6, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by the University's Administrative Council, led by University President Dr. Enrique G. Baking, as well as faculty members and non-teaching personnel from various colleges and offices.

Following the ceremony, an oath-taking for newly appointed and promoted personnel was conducted, led by Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Executive Vice President, concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Furthermore, Gabriel Zachary Reyes from the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy presented the Values Advocacy of the Week, "Professionalism."

He emphasized that professionalism is more than simply fulfilling job responsibilities. It reminds everyone that while they cannot always choose the people they serve, they can always choose how they serve them.
