
Christiane Faye Cabral, a Junior High School completer for Academic Year 2025–2026, was recognized as Best Presenter during the 2nd Philippine Student Thesis and Capstone Competition (PSTCC) 2026, held virtually via Google Meet on June 28, 2026.
Cabral received the recognition after delivering an outstanding presentation of her co-proponents' research titled “Klo-T: An Internet of Things for Monitoring the Class,” which earned commendations from the panelists and moderators for its quality and delivery.
She shares the victory with her fellow researchers—Samantha Nicole R. Calma, Clayderson Krian R. Cubacub, Julia Rizza C. Espino, Carlyx Andrei Q. Kong, and Gian Raphael B. Salangsang—alongside their adviser, Mr. Plato B. Mercado, Director of the Office of Student Welfare and Formation.
Aside from Cabral's circle, another LHS delegation represented the university in the competition with their project, "ASLAG: Development and Acceptability of an Interactive Kapampangan Language Learning Mobile Application."
The team is composed of Ma. Charlize Blair P. Velasco, Aliya Louise B. Lansangan, Wendi S. Felices, Zach Joelhener P. Tiamzon, Chloyd Isaac S. Paguio, Rav Haven D. Jingco, and Jarrel L. Javilla, under the guidance of their adviser, John Ryan Tolentino.
Organized by the International Society of Transdisciplinary Researchers, Educators & Leaders (ISTREL), this year's conference anchored on the theme, "Showcasing Student Innovation and Research Excellence: Bridging Knowledge, Creativity, and Real-World Impact."
The event aimed to highlight student innovation, bridge classroom knowledge with real-world impact, and promote transdisciplinary research.
