
Solidifying its standing as a premier institution of higher education, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) was conferred Institutional Accreditation Level II status and was recognized as the top three performing state university with the highest number of Level I accredited programs at the recent 39th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Annual National Conference and General Assembly, held at the Century Park Hotel in Malate, Manila, on March 24, 2026.
The awards were received by the Quality Management Systems Office (QMSO) Director Dr. Emmanuel Pareño, accompanied by the QMSO staff, and select administrative council members, and the accreditors from the University.
The conference, themed "Advancing QA: Research, Science and Technology for Transformative Education and Sustainable Development," is an annual gathering of state universities and colleges (SUCs) nationwide, recognizing institutions that demonstrate excellence in strengthening academic programs to meet national standards and respond to the evolving demands of higher education.
