In a strategic move to advance academic synergy, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U), through its Research Management Office (RMO), formalized a partnership with the City College of San Fernando Pampanga (CCSFP) through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the CCSFP campus in the City of San Fernando on January 22, 2026.
Beyond resource sharing, both institutions are committed to co-publishing research in reputable academic journals and presenting findings at international conferences.
The partnership is designed to facilitate joint research projects, seminars, and workshops across the fields of Business Studies, Education, and Information Technology.
To ensure the success of these initiatives, both schools agreed to establish a joint steering committee which will oversee the MOU’s implementation and hold regular meetings to address progress and navigate any challenges during the collaborative process.
Representing Pampanga State U during the ceremonial signing was RMO Director Dr. Robin B. Dimla, accompanied by the office's center managers: Engr. Alma L. Tangcuangco, Dr. Jocelyn Y. Arrozal, and Dr. Jhon Paulo V. Oflaria.
The CCSFP delegation was led by Atty. Gloria J. Victoria-Banas, President; Dr. Melanie G. Viloria-Briones, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Engagements and Concurrent VP for Quality Assurance; and Dr. Melanie O. Junio, Research and Extension Services Unit Director.
