
To cultivate a robust research culture, elevate teaching standards, and build collaborative academic partnerships a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed between Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) and Sulu State University (SuluSU) via Zoom on August 25, 2026.
This partnership is vital for the incoming National Research Conference on Teacher Education (NRCTE) 2026 that will serve as a national hub for educators and researchers to share research, enhance teaching standards, and fuel innovative education for sustainable development.
Pampanga State U was represented by Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training and Extension Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, while SuluSU were represented by Prof. Charisma S. Ututalum, CESE, University President alongside Assoc. Prof. Alijandrina T. Jalilul, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Ayesha Rema A. Tan, Vice President for Research, Extension, Innovation, and Production.
NRCTE 2026 with the theme, “Advancing Teacher Quality through Research, Innovation, and Transformative Education for Sustainable National Development" will be hosted by the Pampanga State U in October 2026.
