
In a mutual effort to enhance educator empowerment and champion national educational development, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) and Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) formally executed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) via Zoom on September 10, 2026.
The agreement solidifies the partnership for the National Research Conference on Teacher Education (NRCTE) 2026 in October, centered on “Advancing Teacher Quality through Research, Innovation, and Transformative Education for Sustainable National Development.”
NRCTE will serve as a national hub for educators and researchers to share research, enhance teaching standards, and fuel innovative education for sustainable development.
Pampanga State U was represented by Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training and Extension Dr. Ranie B. Canlas together with Research Management Office Director, Dr. Robin B. Dimla.
Meanwhile TAU was headed by Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, Vice President for Finance and Administration and Officer-in-Charge of the University along with Dr. Edmar N. Franquera-Vice President for Research, Extension and Training, Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco-Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Noel J. Petero-Director of Research and Development, Dr. Marianne P. Villaruel-Director for External Linkages and International Affairs.
