Three graduating Honorians made history for Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) as they emerged among the 20 finalists of the 2026 Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) – Region 3, as announced by the TOSP–Region 3 Alumni Community of Heroes (R3ACH) in a Facebook post on August 21, 2026.
Making them part of the growing community of Honorian-TOSPIans, the three are Ellaine Margauz D.P. Cuevas, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; Zach P. Lopez, Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science; and Jose Primo T. Samia, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management,
They were selected from 51 nominees submitted by various colleges and universities across the region to TOSP-R3ACH.
Since 2016, Pampanga State U has produced TOSP finalists, including Aries Mercado (2016), Lyndsay Joie Isip (2017), and Emmanuel Lozano (2019), through the efforts of the Office of Student Affairs and Development, led by Dr. Gloria B. Gigante.
After a seven-year hiatus, the TOSP has once again opened its doors to students recognized for their excellence in academics, leadership, and service to others.
With this, Cuevas, Lopez, and Samia are set to participate in the Regional Formation Program, scheduled for September 24 to 28, 2026, which will be hosted in Bataan.
The 59th TOSP Region 3 Search is co-presented by Mekeni Food Corporation, and in collaboration with P&A Grant Thornton.
