Bringing quality and accessible higher education closer to communities, the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) has officially opened its 9th campus following a blessing and inauguration at Sta. Monica, Floridablanca, Pampanga on October 14, 2026. 

Floridablanca Campus offers Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management, and Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management. 

University President Dr.  Enrique G. Baking commenced the program by delivering his message highlighting the combined efforts and support of government leaders, partner agencies, local government, and other stakeholders. 

“This campus represents more than a physical facility; it embodies our shared aspiration to expand educational opportunities, develop future professionals, and empower communities through learning,” Dr. Baking noted. 

Meanwhile, 2nd District Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and Governor Lilia “Baby” Pineda  discussed their vision for the Floridablanca Campus and committed that they will help the university. 

Municipality of Floridablanca Mayor Michael L. Galang spoke on behalf of the local government unit, including the municipal officials and all 33 barangays, stating that the community would remain lifelong grateful for this legacy of hope for local families.

Also present during the event are Pampanga State U’s Executive Vice President and Concurrent Vice President for Academic Affairs, Engr. Reden M. Hernandez; Vice President for Research, Innovation, Technology, and Extension, Dr. Ranie B. Canlas; and Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao. 

Moreover, National Aviation Academy of the Philippines (NAP) Prof. Marwin M. Dela Cruz graced the event together with NAAP Palmayo Campus Director, Asst. Prof. Carlito P. Quiambao, Jr. 

To conclude the program, Rozen G. Alfonso, Director of Floridablanca Campus extended his gratitude to everyone who contributed to make the milestone possible and to everyone who joined the celebration.

“Thank you for being part of this meaningful celebration. May we continue working together toward a brighter future for our students and our community,” Alfonso said.
