Ensuring that the faculty researchers are capable and equipped, the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) through its Research Management Office (RMO) together with the College of Business Studies conducted the Capacity Building Program at the University Hostel on February 24, 2026. 

The 45 faculty researchers from Bacolor (Main), Mexico, Lubao, Sto. Tomas, Candaba, and San Fernando campuses were mentored by Dr. Jean Paolo Lacap with the topic Advancing Business Research Excellence: Aligning Faculty Research Proposals with the University Research Agenda. 

Through this workshop all proposals from the session are automatically eligible for presentation at the university in-house review. 

In addition, the faculty researchers are officially exempted from the presentation of research proposals for the upcoming university-wide mentoring session. 

Guided by Dr. Ranie B. Canlas, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Training and Extension, and Dr. Robin Dimla, Director, RMO, this mentoring will set the seal that all proposals are aligned with the University Research Agenda.
