Embodying the tagline “Education Beyond Borders,” Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) formally seals another agreement with Trat Technical College (TTC) of Trat, Thailand during the Academic and Thai Language and Culture Program at the University Hostel on March 17, 2026.

The agreement establishes an international student exchange and research collaboration that is valid for five years through the university’s Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP).

Pampanga State U will serve as a host institution for the students, academic personnel, and administrators of TTC for academic visits and/or exchanges.

“Our university, Pampanga State U, is gradually making its way to the world through its recognition in various international rankings,” shared Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Executive Vice President and concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance and Vice President for Academic Affairs, in his message.

He also said that the effort and will to internationalize is far from over, as the university incessantly initiates international programs, projects, and activities involving its faculty, staff, and students through careful partnership formation.

During the ceremonial signing, the university was represented by Engr. Hernandez, together with Dr. Mildred Crisostomo, OIPP Director; Kathleen Joyce Coronel, Dean of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management; and Mike Haizon David, Chairperson of the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program.

Meanwhile, TTC was represented by Director Jirapong Romngern and Deputy Director Lanlalit Preechachan.

Furthermore, a two-day Thai Language and Culture Program was held and participated in by selected teaching and non-teaching staff of the university, and the acceptance of the exchange student from TTC was also conducted.
