Striking with speed and precision, Pampanga State University’s (Pampanga State U) arnisadors brought three (3) medals during the Philippine Eskrima Kali Arnis Federation (PEKAF) biennial National Battle of Champions at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in Manila from August 7 to 9, 2026. 

Guided by coaches Mark Adrian Eduarte, Harold Raven Dalangin, and John Michael Dalusong, the five-member team was part of the strong 358 regional champions and elite competitors from Philippine National Team, Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. 

The recognition was given to the following student athletes of the university: 

• Eunice Ann D. Manaloto - Gold Medalist, Women's Live-stick event, Fin weight category
• Jefferson Cedric D. Olivar - Silver Medalist, Men's Live-stick event, Bantam weight category
• Jasmin C. De los Reyes - Bronze Medalist, Women's Padded event, Bantam weight category

The event also served as the official national seeding and selection program for the Philippine National Arnis Team.
