Undeterred by the cancellation of face-to-face classes in the following campuses as declared by their respective local government units: Bacolor, Candaba, Apalit, Sto. Tomas, and City of San Fernando, the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) carried on the flag raising ceremony for the fourth Monday of the month on August 24, 2026. 

Meanwhile, on-site classes have already resumed in Lubao, Mexico, Porac, and Floridablanca campuses. 

College of Social Sciences and Philosophy’s KC John Jimenez shared for the Values Advocacy centered on “Hope” during the Monday Flag Ceremony attended by the teaching and non-teaching personnel of the university. 

“Hindi natin kayang ayusin ang lahat ng problema ng mundo. Hindi natin kayang kontrahin ang  lahat nang mangyayari bukas. Pero may isang bagay tayong kaya – kaya nating piliin huwag mawalan ng pag-asa, at higit pa roon, kaya nating maging pag-asa.” 

Following the ceremony, the Office of the University Registrar provided warm bowls of sopas for the employees of the main campus.
