Recognizing exceptional contributions to the field of Information Technology Education (ITE), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSInfoTech) student, and Senior Editor of ComPress, Ellaine Margaux P. Cuevas, was honored as one of the Outstanding Information Technology Education (ITE) Student Awardees and recipient of the ITE Award of Excellence by the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE) Central Luzon on May 30, 2026.
In an interview, Cuevas expressed her gratitude for the recognition and hoped that the award would further elevate the university’s standing in the field of computing.
“Gusto ko po kasi na maging loud po yung name ng university when it comes to computing. Since wala naman pong boards sa field namin, this is one of the good ways to make PamSU known po among the region," Cuevas shared.
"I hope this paves the way for internal and external entities to recognize that students from PSU-CCS are capable of achieving something bigger,” she added.
The annual recognition honors graduating IT students who not only excel academically but also demonstrate leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to making a difference in their institutions and beyond.
