
To expand access to mental health services for young Kapampangans, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) joined the Provincial Government of Pampanga for the blessing and inauguration of the Provincial Care and Counseling Center in Barangay Sindalan, City of San Fernando last June 30, 2026.
The university delegation was led by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (SAS), headed
by Vice President Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, alongside representatives from the Counseling and Testing Center and the Affirmative Unit.
Established through the collaborative efforts of the Provincial Government of Pampanga, led by Governor Lilia Pineda and Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, the initiative was realized in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Pampanga State U.
Through the center, Kapampangans may access a wide range of services, including psychiatric consultations, psychotherapy and counseling, social service assistance, legal support and protection, as well as livelihood and family support programs.
