Manifesting its commitment in delivering free, quality higher education, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) was commended during the Department of Budget and Management’s  (DBM) Annual Agency Performance Review Recognition Program at City of San Fernando, Pampanga on June 18, 2026. 

For Fiscal Year 2025, Pampanga State U received a rating of 4.75, equivalent to "Very Satisfactory," as one of the Highest Agency Physical and Financial Performance, ranking 5th among State Universities and Colleges in Region III. 

In addition to this, the university was also lauded for its Outstanding Achievement in Producing Topnotchers in Licensure Examination and Outstanding Performance in Infrastructure Development and Implementation. 

DBM Region III Director Rosalie C. Abesamis extended her gratitude to all State Universities and College leaders and representatives for their exemplary performance in financial stewardship, reflecting outstanding accountability, efficiency and operational excellence. 

Representing Pampanga State University at the event was Dr. Luis M. Lansang, Director of the Finance Management Service Office (FMSO), together with representatives from the FMSO and the Planning and Development Office.
