Establishing a collaborative framework for faculty research and boosting research capabilities, Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) at the University Hostel on October 28, 2026.
In an opening message on behalf of the University President, Dr. Enrique G. Baking, the Vice President for Research, Innovation, Technology, and Extension, Dr. Ranie B. “May this partnership mark the beginning of a productive and enduring relationship founded on mutual respect, shared aspirations, and a common commitment to academic excellence.” Dr. Canlas emphasized.
The MOU is set to focus on collaborative research fields of education, business studies, information technology, social sciences, tourism, industrial technology, and graduate school.
Furthermore, this will provide opportunities for exchange of faculty members for joint projects, seminars, and workshops, and training sessions to further enhance research skills which will benefit both academic institutions.

Also present alongside Dr. Canlas was Pampanga State U’s Research Management Office (RMO) Director, Dr. Robin B. Dimla, along with RMO center managers and staff.
