Three students from the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM), together with their coach Mr. Mike Haizon David won third place in Kurang Kurang Kaleldo 2024, an Inter-University/College Culinary Competition organized by Kusinero’t Kusinerang Kapampangan in partnership with Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan held at Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga on March 20, 2024.

Student leaders from the College of Education (COE), namely Geraldine Laxa, Ronald Ace Miranda, Gerill Dimalanta, Febe Ocampo, and Rae Josiel Buan, successfully completed the educational project “The 17th Socially Innovative Global Classroom (SIGLOC).”

With the theme “Empowering Educators to Champion Gender Equity through Research, Policy, and Ethics,” the Research Management Office (RMO) of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) held its 5th Gender and Development (GAD) Research Webinar last March 13, 2024 via Zoom Meeting.

A total of 56 papers are reviewed and presented in the conduct of the 27th University In-House Review organized by the Don Honorio Ventura State University - Research Management Office held last March 21, 2024.

To guide and capacitate extension implementors from the various colleges and campuses in the procedures and guidelines relative to the conduct of extension services at the university, the Extension Management Office (ESO) conducted a Cluster Units Mentoring session in three batches. The sessions were held at the College of Education building on March 22, 2024.

The DHVSU Environmental Science Society (ESSOC) secured the overall second runner-up position in the Bulawan Awards '24 during the 3rd Founding Anniversary celebration of the Philippine Association of Environmental Science Students (PAESS). The event took place at Manila's National Museum of Natural History and Arroceros Forest Park on March 14, 2024.

John Aldrich Pingul, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering student from the College of Architecture and Engineering (CEA), secured third place among 105 student participants in the Padilla Review Center (PRC) 3rd Annual Civil Engineering Quiz Show held via Zoom Meetings on March 26, 2024. Pingul was coached by Engr. Jafet C. Culala.

After a month-long celebration filled with purple in honor of National Women’s Month, the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS) at Don Honorio Ventura State University concluded with a culminating activity held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on March 25.

Out of 35 participating schools, three students from the Senior High School (SHS) Department secured fourth place in the STEMazing competition in Science for secondary schools during the Division Festival of Talents held at Lubao National High School on March 15, 2024.

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was recognized as the Top 1 Performing State University with the Highest Number of Level 1 Accredited Programs in 2023 during the 37th Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc. Annual National Conference held at Century Park Hotel, City of Manila on March 22, 2024.

The Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines (IECEP) Student Chapter of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) - College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) has once again demonstrated excellence as Electronics Engineering students.

The Global Grant Skills Training in Bread and Pastry Production, Cookery, and Food Processing of the Rotary Club of Hwasung Taean and Rotary Club of Villa de Bacolor in partnership with the Training Services Office (TSO) officially launched last March 16, 2024 at the University Hostel.

Despite the scheduled power interruption announced by PELCO II - Pampanga II Electric Cooperative, Inc., the University Student Council (USC) proceeded with its 1st Awarding of Student Organizations and 2nd Student Regent Address, held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on March 15, 2024.

In line with the celebration of National Women's Month 2024, the Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP) launched two virtual orientations with the theme "Worthy Opportunities, Meaningful Engagements and Networking (WOMEN): Virtual Orientation on Student Teaching and OJT Abroad" dated March 05 (5PM) and 13 (1PM) respectively via Google Meet Platform.

The Rotary Club of Villa de Bacolor and Rotary Club of Hwansung Taean, South Korea, in collaboration with the Training Services Office of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), held a turnover ceremony for equipment and machinery at the New Assessment Center on March 12, 2024.

As part of its second founding anniversary, the DHVSU School of Law held its first-ever MasterClass Series featuring Chairman George Erwin M. Garcia of the Commission on Elections as the guest speaker at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on March 9, 2024.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Batch 2013) alumnus, Engr. Melvin Keith Nicdao, was recognized as one of the 148 out of 1,400 Top Engineers and Architects in the Middle East Awards 2024. The event was hosted by The Filipino Times Watch List at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on March 1, 2024.

The Advocate, the official student publication of Don Honorio Ventura State University – Senior High School, ranked 6th Place (Overall) – Best Performing School during the Cluster IV Secondary Schools Press Conference (CSSPC) 2024 held at Mexico National High School on March 7-8.
