With the goal of establishing a University Research Ethics Committee (REC) for accreditation by the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board (PHREB), Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Research Management Office (RMO), conducted a Basic Research Ethics Training for faculty-researchers on May 5–6, 2025, at the University Hostel.

In line with Don Honorio Ventura State University’s (DHVSU) vision of producing globally competitive professionals, the Professional and Responsible International Migration Engagement (PRIME) Alliance opened new global employment opportunities for the DHVSU community through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) held on May 16, 2025, at the University Hostel.

To strengthen cultural heritage preservation and support sustainable tourism in Pampanga through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), specifically focusing on the municipal church of Bacolor, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its College of Computing Studies (CCS) and Extension Services Office (ESO), formalized a partnership with the San Guillermo Parish of Bacolor for Project BALIKID during a ceremony held on May 13, 2025.

Reaffirming its commitment to excellence, leadership, and service, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) Unit successfully passed the Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) with an overall rating of 96.61% for Academic Year 2024 – 2025, held at the DHVSU Extension Lot on May 14, 2025.

In accordance with Republic Act No. 12178, as declared by Malacañang Palace, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) celebrated the first National Education Support Personnel Day by gathering members of the Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) at the Administration Building on May 16, 2025.

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) climbed to the top spot among universities and colleges in Central Luzon in the May 2024 edition of the uniRank University RankingTM, improving one notch from its previous second-place position in the December 2024 release.

To facilitate the establishment of agricultural research and strengthen a network of regional and provincial partners, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) participated in the multilateral signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office III (DA-FRO III) on May 5, 2025, at Royce Hotel in Clark, Pampanga.

To promote health awareness through real-time monitoring, four students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) presented an automated Body Mass Index (BMI) Calculator System during the Huddle, Analyze, Build, and Innovate (HABI) Design Thinking Workshop, held in celebration of the 2025 National Innovation Day (NID) at Novotel Manila Araneta City, Quezon City last April 28 to 30.

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Office for International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP), signed two Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) with Human Resource University (HRU) of Cambodia to establish a joint exchange program on international learning, language, and cultural exchange, with the signing ceremony held at Khan Boeng Keng Kang, Phnom Penh, Cambodia last April 22 and 23, 2025.

As part of its observance of Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month 2025, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), through its Planning and Development Office (PDO), recognized the offices with the highest client satisfaction ratings for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 during the flag-raising ceremony on May 5.

Engr. Jeejay Al M. Perez, a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (ECE) graduate from the Don Honorio Ventura State University Class of 2012, was internationally recognized as one of the awardees of the Top Filipino Engineers and Architects in the Middle East Awards 2025 and was conferred the prestigious ASEAN Engineer title by the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO).

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Pampanga conducted a Labor Education for Graduating Students (LEGS) Seminar for the graduating students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), with the theme “Future-Ready Honorians: Shaping Careers for a Sustainable Tomorrow,” held at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center on April 28, 2025.

In the April 2025 Alper-Doger (AD) Scientific Index ranking, 47 Honorian scientists made it to the list, placing Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) at 88th among the leading research institutions in the Philippines.
