A new campus for Honorians has been born in Pampanga's capital city!

The Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) – City of San Fernando (CSF) Extension campus is set to start its operations on August 2024 as the academic year 2024 – 2025 commences.

BACOLOR, Pampanga - As part of its ongoing pursuit of excellence and vision to become a premier local college, Gordon College (GC) conducted a benchmarking visit to Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) to learn about the University’s Gender and Development (GAD) programs and Public Administration programs at the undergraduate, master's, and doctorate levels on July 22, 2024.

MANILA CITY, Philippines - The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) recognized three Counseling and Testing Center staff members of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) as official trainers and facilitators for the Katatagan Plus: A Community-Based Mental Health Program under the USAID RenewHealth Project.

Dave B. Salenga, a Bachelor of Science in Architecture student at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), once again waved the maroon and gold flag by winning the silver medal for the Pintar: Poster Painting Contest during the State University and Colleges (SUC) Fair held at Western Mindanao State University, Zamboanga City, from July 9 to 11.

As a result of the blood donation drive initiative of the Office of Student Welfare and Formation (OSWF) – Health Services Unit, Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) was awarded a Plaque of Appreciation from Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital (JBLMGH) during the Gratitude Gala Night 2024 held at Heroes Hall, City of San Fernando, Pampanga last July 8, 2024.

Among over 500 other teams, the MKHR FRYD Esports Team of Don Honorio Ventura State University achieved a second runner-up finish during the National MSL Collegiate Cup Season 1 held at Ayala Malls Solenad, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, on July 6-7, 2024.

Guagua, Pampanga – Through the initiative of the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CHTM) of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was forged with coffee shop owners of Guagua, Pampanga for the community extension workshop seminar titled “SEEDS of Solidarity: Sowing Experiences and Exploring Diverse Sceneries through Entrepreneurship-Tourism and Outreach Program.”

Two Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) major in Home Economics (HE) students from the College of Education took part in the 2nd Local Culture, Science, and Technology (LOCUST) Short Program 2024, hosted by Indonesia’s Universitas Islam Sultan Agung (UNISSULA) - Faculty of Industrial Technology, via Zoom Meeting on June 20-24, 2024.

As one of the representatives of Central Luzon in the national stint, the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (CpE) teams from Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) showcased their skills in research and innovation at the Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines’ 7th National Skills Competition held at the DOST MIRDC Compound on June 18-19, 2024.

Proud moments filled the Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center during the 2024 Completion Ceremony for the Grade 10 students of DHVSU-Laboratory High School on June 20, 2024, with the theme, “Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”

It’s time to once again showcase the unique cultural and artistic strength of the Municipality of Bacolor and the province of Pampanga after decades of recovering from the aftermath of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption in 1991!

To show strong support for the first Honorian Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program participant, the Office of International Partnerships and Programs (OIPP), led by its director, Dr. Mildred M. Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU)’s Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (VPSAS) and the concurrent Director of the GAD Focal Point System (GFPS), has successfully completed the Return Demonstration of Shortlisted Applicants conducted by the Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) III – Regional Pool of GAD Resource Persons (RPGRP) screening committee on April 3-4, 2024.

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Batch 2013) alumnus, Engr. Kim Curlie G. Alfonso, has been recognized as one of the awardees of the Top Filipino Engineers and Architects in the Middle East Awards 2024.

Two teams from the Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE) program were recognized as winners in two contested categories during the first-ever Mechatronics and Robotics Society of the Philippines (MRSP) event in Central Luzon, hosted by the MRSP-Pampanga Chapter at Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) on May 24, 2024.

To feature the creative skills of the Honorians, the Zonta Club of Manila Foundation Inc. (ZCMFI) conducted the second part of its “Share Your Story” activity for select students of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) at the Multipurpose Hall on May 24, 2024.
